Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you.
What we store, and why
We store a few small items in your browser, only when you use the feature they belong to:
| Name | Set when | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
nl-theme | You switch between light and dark mode | Remembers your choice | Until you clear your browser data |
nl-consent | You choose Accept or Reject in the cookie banner | Remembers your choice, so we do not ask on every page | 12 months, then we ask again |
nl-last-door | You choose a sign-in option | Shows that option first next time | Until you clear your browser data |
mrsims_scorm_… | You sign in and use the AI tutor | Keeps your tutor session signed in and connected: access tokens, the session and the learning mode | Until you close the browser tab (session storage) |
mrsims_avatar_hidden | You hide or show the tutor’s avatar | Remembers your choice | Until you clear your browser data |
These are kept in your browser’s local or session storage. The theme, sign-in and avatar settings are never sent to us; the tutor session items are sent only to the AI tutor, to keep you signed in. All are used only because you asked for the feature. Under PECR, storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have requested does not need separate consent.
Content from other services
Google Maps. Our contact page shows a map only if you select “Show map”. Until then nothing is loaded from Google. If you choose to show it, Google may set its own cookies, as described inGoogle’s cookie policy. Selecting the button is your consent for that page view; you can simply not select it.
Booking calendar. “Book a pilot” takes you to our Zoho booking page, a separate website with its own privacy policy.
Your choices
When you first visit, a cookie banner asks you to accept or reject optional cookies. We do not use any optional cookies today, so either choice leaves the site working in the same way. If we add optional cookies, such as analytics, we will list them here and ask you again before using them. You can change your choice at any time.
You can remove the settings above at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The site works fully without them.
